With more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Sanjay Banydeen has accumulated different roles in various companies, from Sales Executive in F Hertogs &Co Ltd to Sales Manager in the Medical Division of Robert Le Maire Ltd from 2002 to 2013, until appointed CEO of Proximed Ltd in 2013.

Sanjay started his professional career as a textile technician before joining the medical world as a biomedical technician. He has over 20 years of experience. Thanks to this experience, he is now Technical Manager for Proximed Ltd and is responsible for Mauritius and Madagascar.

Soodha, FCCA and a member of MIoD, brings over 8 years of expertise across retail and distribution, energy, and financial sectors. With a BSc (Hons) in Finance with a minor in Law and a MBA in Innovation & Leadership, she possesses a robust foundation. Soodha has extensive experience in financial reporting, compliance, financing and cash management, having held several positions in the financial field in different industries in the Indian Ocean.

Assaad holds a Degree in Chemical & Environmental Engineering and a Master of Business Administration. Assaad has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry. He joined Proximed Ltd in 2014 and is responsible for Medical Equipment and Turnkey Projects. This accomplished leader has held various senior management positions for more than 10 years.

His experience in various public hospitals where he worked as a certified nurse makes Deesen the perfect candidate to lead our Orthopedic team. Deesen has built up a solid reputation after spending more than 10 years within different operating theatres. Deesen has been with Proximed Ltd since 2017 and has since established the Orthopedic department as a leading supplier of Orthopedic implants in Mauritius and Madagascar.

Aashvini is a dynamic Sales Manager | Driving Growth Through Strategic Leadership and Client-Centric Solutions for Diagnostic and Life Sciences laboratory.
She graduated with a Bsc (Hons) Biomedical Degree and has 8 years of experience since joining Proximed in 2016.
She has worked closely with the laboratories across the islands and has a deep understanding of the sales cycle, fostering strong client relationships, and leveraging data-driven insights to guide decision-making.
She is currently looking after Mauritius, Madagascar, Seychelles and Comores.

Vinaye Gopaul has over 16 years of experience in Laboratory, Scientific & Analytical equipment. He started his career soon after completing his studies in 2005. Vinaye has attended several factory trainings abroad where he learned a lot on the engineering principle and logic to solve problems. Vinaye has excellent technical skill and has extensive experience in installations, maintenance of high-end mass spectrometer and chromatography equipment in Mauritius, Madagascar, and Seychelles.
